Embossing

If you would like your wedding invitation to be that little bit extra special, then embossing could be for you. The flock heart is raised out of the front of the card, creating a beautiful and memorable 3D design.

If you are after something very subtle – why not have a white heart embossed out of a white background? Or for a stylish look, emboss gold out of cream (as shown). As with the rest of our invitations, any colour options are available!

Embossing works best on designs which are not too small or intricate.

Foil Printing

For an alternative to embossing why not choose foil printing? A range of colours foils are available (silvers, golds, bronzes, and even colours such as pale pink, pale green and red!). A foil print gives a gloss finish to a particular area of a design (as shown on the Flock Heart). For a subtle understated finish, why not print black foil onto a black matt background (or white foil on white matt)? The difference in textures would look fabulous! Or, if having a silver theme foil printing is ideal to really get across a shimmering silver theme (having the Vintage Dream Design printed in a silver foil would look great for example).

Foiling works well on intricate and detailed designs, as well as funky prints.

If you don’t want to wait, we can organise this finish for you, for a £50 bespoke set up fee (per design). Prices per invitation would then be quoted on application.
